An Engineer and Artist

You heard it right! While engineers and artists may seem like opposites to many, I’ve found that the two can coexist beautifully. As an engineer, I appreciate the logic and precision involved in problem-solving. However, my heart also lies in the world of art. Painting, for me, is not just a hobby but a scientific exploration. From composition to color theory, every aspect of my artwork is underpinned by careful calculation and a deep understanding of color. I approach painting with the same rigor and curiosity as I do my engineering work.

My Artistic Journey

Though I never formally studied art, my passion for painting has been a constant in my life. In 2016, I embarked on my oil painting journey under the guidance of the renowned Taiwanese artist, Ye Yancheng. From watercolor and sketching to oil painting, I’ve explored various mediums and techniques. I find particular joy in landscape painting, as it allows me to capture the beauty of nature and express my emotions through color and form.

Inspired by Nature

Growing up in a small fishing village on the northeastern coast of Taiwan, I was surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. The mountains, the sea, and the vast sky have deeply influenced my artistic perspective. When I paint landscapes, I feel a deep connection to nature and a sense of peace.

Balancing Work and Art

As a full-time engineer, I make time for my art whenever possible. Painting is my way of relaxing and recharging. When I'm immersed in my artwork, I lose track of time and feel a sense of fulfillment.

Sharing My Art with the World

I enjoy sharing my art with others and connecting with people from all over the world. Art is a universal language that transcends cultural boundaries.

你沒聽錯！身為一名工程師，我同時擁抱著藝術的熱情。許多人認為工程師與藝術家是截然不同的角色，但對我來說，繪畫不僅是興趣，更是嚴謹的科學探究。從構圖到用色，每一個細節都蘊含著精密的計算與對色彩的深入理解。我以研究者的精神，探索著藝術的無限可能。

繪畫之路的起點

雖然未曾接受過正規的藝術教育，但我對繪畫的熱愛始終如一。2016年，我開始師從台灣知名藝術家葉燕城先生學習油畫，開啟了一段精彩的藝術旅程。從水彩、素描到油畫，我深深著迷於油畫豐富的色彩與質感。從靜物、風景到肖像，我不斷挑戰自我，探索藝術的更多可能性。

自然之美，我的創作靈感

在眾多主題中，我對風景畫情有獨鍾。或許是因為我成長於台灣東北角海岸的小漁村，家門前就是遼闊的大海和連綿的山巒。大自然的美景滋養著我的心靈，也成為我創作的源泉。每當我站在畫布前，仿佛能再次感受到海風拂面、陽光灑落的溫暖。

工作與創作的平衡

身為一名全職工程師，我仍舊堅持每週撥出時間進行創作。繪畫不僅是興趣，更是我的療癒方式。當我沉浸在繪畫的世界裡，時間彷彿靜止。完成一幅作品帶來的成就感，是我最大的滿足。

我樂於與世界分享我的作品，也期待與來自不同文化背景的朋友交流。藝術不僅是一種表達方式，更是一種連結彼此的橋樑。
